Our Men’s Health Therapist at Ramsay Health Plus works to help retrain men’s pelvic floor, using real-time ultrasound, in order to reduce bladder issues. Studies show men have a reduced risk of bladder issues specifically post prostate surgery when they undertake a physio guided pelvic floor exercise program pre-surgery. Ongoing care post-surgery is also important to ensure bladder symptoms are well controlled while returning to work and leisure activities. Therapy may include:
- Assessment of pelvic floor and transversus abdominis muscle activation using real-time ultrasound.
- Prescription and review of pelvic floor exercises.
- Provision of further education on post-operative precautions and guided return to work and leisure activities.

Health Fund Rebates
Our practice has the HICAPS payment system in place, allowing you to automatically claim your rebate from your private health fund following your treatment. Simply present your card to one of our receptionists who will instantly process your claim. Once this is completed you may need to pay a gap amount, depending on your level of cover. This is the difference between the treatment fee and the rebate amount from your fund. We accept a range of other payment methods including cash, MasterCard, Visa and EFTPOS.
