Outpatient Physiotherapy
We have experienced and high-standard physiotherapists at the Ramsay Health Plus clinic located at St George Private Hospital.
Our physiotherapists aim to improve and restore your level of health, function and fitness after childbirth, surgery, cancer treatment, illness or injury, or to improve your quality of life through optimising management of any chronic conditions.
We will work with you and your doctor to provide a smooth transition from hospital to follow-up care.
Location
The Ramsay Health Plus clinic is conveniently located on the first floor of St George Private Hospital.
Referrals
No referral necessary, unless you are claiming your appointment fees under one of the following:
- Workers Compensation
- Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
- Medicare (e.g. Chronic Disease Management referral)
Health Fund Rebates
Our practice has the HICAPS payment system in place, allowing you to automatically claim your rebate from your private health fund following your treatment. Simply present your card to one of our receptionists who will instantly process your claim. Once this is completed you may need to pay a gap amount, depending on your level of cover. This is the difference between the treatment fee and the rebate amount from your fund. We accept a range of other payment methods including MasterCard, Visa and EFTPOS.
