Our Concussion Clinic offers comprehensive care for those recovering from mild Traumatic Brain Injuries (mTBI), including sports-related, work-related, victims of violence and post-accident concussions. Partnering with leading Neurologists and senior Allied Health Professionals, we use cutting-edge, evidence-based technology to assess, diagnose and treat concussion-related symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, balance issues and cognitive difficulties. Our multidisciplinary team provides Neurology, Physiotherapy and Psychology support to help patients achieve a full recovery, whether returning to work, study or sport.
Referrals
No referral necessary, unless you are claiming your appointment fees under one of the following:
- Workers Compensation
- Third Party Insurance
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
- Medicare (e.g. Chronic Disease Management referral)
Health Fund Rebates
Our practice has the HICAPS payment system in place, allowing you to automatically claim your rebate from your private health fund following your treatment. Simply present your card to one of our receptionists who will instantly process your claim. Once this is completed you may need to pay a gap amount, depending on your level of cover. This is the difference between the treatment fee and the rebate amount from your fund. We accept a range of other payment methods including cash, MasterCard, Visa and EFTPOS.
